Terms and conditions

Effective from 31 October 2026

These terms govern the relationship between the provider and the customer for game server hosting provided through hangar417.eu and the client area billing.hangar417.eu.

The Czech version is binding; this translation is for information.

1. Provider

The provider is Ing. Ľuboš Lendáč, company ID (IČO) 19852967, registered at Kurzova 2222/16, 155 00 Praha 5 – Stodůlky, Czech Republic, a sole trader registered in the Czech Trade Register, not a VAT payer. Contact: admin@hangar417.eu.

Consumer protection is supervised by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, www.coi.cz).

2. Definitions

  • Only consumers can be customers, i.e. natural persons who do not act within their business when concluding the contract. We do not provide services to businesses or legal entities.
  • Service means the rental of computing resources to run a game server with the parameters of the chosen plan, including access to the game panel.

3. Concluding the contract

  • You conclude the contract by placing an order in the client area. Before submitting the order you can review and correct the data you entered.
  • By submitting an order the customer confirms that they are a consumer ordering the service for personal use (e.g. for their clan or gaming community).
  • The contract is concluded when the first invoice is paid. We archive the contract electronically and it is available in the client area.
  • The contract can be concluded in Czech; other language versions are for information.
  • The customer bears the costs of distance communication, which do not differ from the standard rate.

4. Price and payment

  • Prices are shown in the client area and are final. The provider is not a VAT payer.
  • The service is paid in advance for the chosen billing period. We issue the invoice for the next period before the current one ends.
  • Payment is made online through a payment gateway (mainly by payment card); the available payment methods are shown at checkout in the client area. Prices are in the currency shown in the client area.
  • If an invoice is not paid within 3 days after its due date, we may suspend the service. If it remains unpaid 14 days after suspension, the contract ends and the server data is deleted.

5. Service provision

  • The server is set up automatically, usually within minutes of payment.
  • The service is provided electronically only – nothing is physically delivered and there are no delivery charges. Access to the game panel and your server details are sent by email and are available in the client area.
  • We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running continuously, but we do not guarantee 100% availability. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
  • We are not liable for outages caused by third parties (e.g. game platforms, game updates or networks outside our control) or by force majeure.

6. Acceptable use

The service must not be used in particular:

  • to break the law or infringe the rights of third parties, including copyright;
  • to attack other systems, send spam, run proxies or VPNs for third parties, or mine cryptocurrency;
  • in a way that places an unreasonable load on the infrastructure or restricts other customers.

7. Customer responsibility

The customer is responsible for the content of their server, for complying with the licence terms of games and mods, and for keeping their login details secure. In case of a serious breach of the rules we may suspend the service immediately and terminate the contract.

8. Data and backups

  • The customer is responsible for backing up their data. Backups available in the game panel are a convenience feature without guarantee.
  • After the contract ends, server data is deleted within 30 days.

9. Right of withdrawal

  • A consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of its conclusion by emailing admin@hangar417.eu.
  • By submitting the order and accepting these terms, the consumer expressly requests that the service starts before the withdrawal period ends.
  • If the consumer withdraws after the service has started, they pay the proportionate part of the price for the period until withdrawal. We refund the rest within 14 days of withdrawal using the same payment method.
  • Model form (optional): “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the provision of the service [service name] ordered on [date]. Name, address, email, date.”

10. Complaints

  • If the service does not work properly, email admin@hangar417.eu describing the defect. We confirm the complaint and resolve it without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days.
  • If the complaint is justified, we fix the defect; if that is not possible, we grant a reasonable discount for the affected period.

11. Termination

  • The customer may cancel the service at any time in the client area; it ends at the end of the paid period. Unused parts of the period are not refunded unless the law requires otherwise.
  • The provider may terminate the contract with 30 days' notice, or without notice in case of a serious breach of these terms.

12. Liability

The provider's liability for damage is governed by the Czech Civil Code. Consumers' statutory rights cannot be limited or excluded.

13. Out-of-court dispute resolution

Consumers may resolve disputes out of court through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz/adr). Consumers from other EU countries may also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country.

14. Final provisions

  • The contract is governed by Czech law. This does not deprive consumers of the protection of mandatory rules of their country of residence.
  • We may change these terms. We announce changes by email at least 30 days in advance; if you disagree, you may terminate the contract before the change takes effect.
  • Processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy policy.
